Classic Mature boasts thousands of pictures of hot, horny, glamorous older women, hundreds of hours of video, and a wide variety of bonus material to keep your hands busy for months on end. 680+ galleries, averaging 60 pictures apiece, give you around 40,000 pictures of mature women ranging from thirty-something to grannies. No matter how you cut it, 40,000 is a lot of pictures. To make it a little easier, the sets are sorted out by sub-category to suit just about anyone’s fantasies. The categories include Hardcore Grannies, couples, Lesbian, Soft Core Photo Shoots, Centerfolds, big tits, group sex – just about any variation you can think of.

Most everything else on the site is leased, non-exclusive content that you can get with membership to many other sites. That said, it’s still an enormous collection even before you add in the offsite video feeds, live webcams, ezines and other content that will give you lots to do if you get bored with looking at pictures.

In addition, you get access to 50+ other sites in the Kara’s XXX Playground network. The entire list of sites is included below, but basically, they add another several hundred thousand pictures and a few hundred more videos.

Besides the pics and vids, Classic Mature tosses in access to forums, ezines, stores, a casino, personals sites – just about everything but the kitchen sink (and if you poke around through the pictures enough, I’m SURE you can find a few of those too).

I’m focusing on the photo galleries here, since it’s really the only part of the site that’s even close to exclusive and/or original. The fact is – Classic Mature DOES deliver on what it promises: thousands of photos of gorgeous, glam older women (35+) in sets ranging from Centerfold to Hardcore and Fetish. As you’d expect with anything this size, the quality from set to set is a bit uneven. Grainy, old photos are side by side with spectacular sets with high-res images and beautiful, classy women. The image quality ranges from just okay to very good, and sizes range from 400x600 to 600x800.

With this amount of content available, the quality is bound to be variable. You can find some really outstanding sets if you poke around enough, and none of it is truly awful. The centerfold and soft core photo sets really shine, highlighting some real MILFs and gorgeous grannies. The hardcore sets and lesbian sets feature some stunning dames that prove the old adage that older women really know what they’re doing when it comes to fucking. You’ll find everything from saggy-bagged sluts wrapping their tits around fresh young cock to mom-next-door types with professional manicures and the sweetest cocksucking lips you’ve ever seen.

Like the pictures, the leased video content is pretty variable in quality. Some of it is outstandingly good, some of it is barely acceptable. Because they pull their feeds from so many different sites, you can find clips for Java, Windows Media, Quicktime and Realplayer, though most sites only support one or two of them. You’re out of luck if you want to download, though. All the video feeds are streaming only.

Variable is the keyword for the quality of all the bonus and extra stuff as well. In fact, the video contents page actually has a disclaimer at the top stating that Classic Mature is not responsible for the content and quality thereof of the sites to which they link you.

There’s not a lot here to set Classic Mature above the run-of-the-mill gallery mill porn site. It’s not that it’s BAD, it’s just average. The gallery photos are mostly bought sets, and it looks like a lot of it was just indiscriminate buying. I’ve gotten spoiled reviewing smaller indie sites, where the site owner obviously takes some pride in photos and content that they’ve produced themselves. That’s not the case here, where it seems the goal was to get LOTS of pictures up there, never mind how good they are. A lot of these sets have been around for a long time – and their age is showing. They’re not quite old enough to qualify as ‘vintage’ porn, they’re just dated.

The videos are ALL feeds from elsewhere. Mind you, there’s a LOT of them, and some of them are damned good, but they’re not original or exclusive by any means. If, on the other hand, what you’re really looking for is massive amounts of hardcore porn to pick through, chances are good that you’ll find almost anything you want here, given time to look for it.

Overall, we’re talking in the neighborhood of 50% exclusive/50% leased content, with huge amounts of leased video content, all streaming. There’s also a LOT of links to content that’s altogether offsite, including news and weather feeds, ezines, forums, jokes and a casino. Most of these are upsells, and annoying ones at that. Frankly, if I’m spending $30 a month, I don’t want pop-ups on my exit page, or a console trying to get me to spend more money, and I sure as hell don’t want banner ads trying to sell me  Penis Enlargement Techniques.

The site is ‘updated’ constantly, according to all the promo material. What I found was a new featured broadband video every day, galleries added in one or more of the photo categories several times a week, a daily ‘Monthly Centerfold’ (how’s that for confusing?), and frequently changing video and livecam feeds. There doesn’t seem to be a regular schedule, and the amount and quality of the added content – not to mention the ratio of what is actually NEW and what’s just reshuffled to bring it up front – keep this score from being higher than it is.

It may have been my connection – which has been a bit balky lately – or my old workhorse of a computer protesting at all the glitz and dazzle, but this site loaded a bit on the slow side for me. The gallery pages came up faster than the Members’ Home Page – so I’m inclined to blame the ads rather than my poor, beleaguered machine.

Getting around the Classic Mature site and its associated network is pretty intuitive. The Quick Access menu is available on most pages, and lets you hop from area to area around the site with just a click. You can go to Members’ Home, Photos, Videos, Updates, Ezines, Live Cams and more. The member home page has a three-column layout with the content in the middle. On the left you’ll find links to content associated with Classic Mature; on the right, links to the 50+  bonus sites.

The gallery pages also have an easy-to-use interface, and a little feature that I think is about the best thing the site has to offer: My Photo Album, which allows you to add entire galleries of pictures that really get you going to a hot list so that you can easily find them later.

The video pages are a huge conglomeration of links to dozens of video feeds from dozens of third-party providers presented in table form. Each entry has the site name, and lists what formats that particular site/provider offers its content in, as well as a short description of what you can expect to find there.  They include titles like Freaky and Forty (Her mature mouth is trained in the art of making a man cum – over and over again) and Staying Young (These wrinkled grannies show a younger man all the tricks they know).

Classic Mature’s free tour pages have a glossy, classy design that really matches the site’s promise to deliver elegant, beautiful older women.  That impression breaks down the minute you log in to the member pages, though. Busy, loud, cluttered – it’s a designer’s nightmare. There are so many loud pieces competing for your attention that it’s easy to be overwhelmed by it all. In addition, there are banner ads mixed in with the content links, which to me is just the height of tacky. The dark blue background and high-contrast text are tough on the eyes, and the pictures and content tend to get lost in the sheer busy-ness of everything around them.

The left and right sidebar menus are text links leading to different areas on the site and offsite to bonus content, respectively. The powder blue they chose for the font colour would be great – if the size wasn’t so small, and the letters blocky, making it hard to read.

All right, I’ll admit it. I’m being a little harsh on this site. Here’s the bottom line: If all it takes to get your dick hard is the thought of screwing an older babe, you’ll find a lot to like here. If your tastes are wide open and you just love any kind of porn, it’s probably worth $30 a month to be able to get to this much of it with one membership. Face it, it’s a buck a day, and if nothing else, the fact that there’s a new picture set and a new video added daily should be worth that much to you.

And I did find lots of gorgeous grandma’s and mommies that could warm my bed anytime. This is a huge porn mega-site that’s part of a network of porn mega-sites. There’s tons of great content – but there’s also tons of crap. If I’m being perfectly honest – and I am – I’d have given Classic Mature a MUCH higher rating if they’d just go through their galleries with a set of pruning shears and clip out the garbage that brings the rest of the site’s quality down.

That said, if I found as much good quality stuff on a smaller site, this review would probably be praising it as a great find. If you’re the kind that likes to dive into a huge pile of raunchy, nasty pictures, and don’t mind the third party video feeds, you could do a lot worse than to spend your $30 here.

One last thing that probably influenced me – in poking around on the web, I found a lot of referral pages to Classicmature.com that offered a $2.95 or $4.95 free trial membership – but on getting to the sign-up page – not a mention of a trial. I suppose it sucks for me to hold it against the site that their advertisers don’t keep up with the promotions, but I do. I’m just a bitch that way.
