Gay Hitchhiker has a premise you would expect. One gay stud travels around the country picking up hitchhikers and getting them to suck his cock before he drives into their ass. The tour offers three pages and 6 different episodes that will definitely get you revved for some overheated action. I was actually impressed by the design of the tour. It included a brief write-up of the action, a large photo of the hitchhiker, 12 very clear thumbnail action shots and one preview trailer that plays through Windows Media Player.

Gay Hitchhiker has 14 hitchhiking adventures with independent galleries of photos and videos. Photo Galleries consist of 250 - 300 images per gallery, and approximately 12 -15 sets, with 20 photos per set. Full-feature videos are around 40 – 50 minutes in length, and are split up into downloadable and streamed clips.
In addition to the custom content, Gay Hitchhiker offers bonus sites. I was happy to see that they offered 5 gay sites. It’s all too often that the bonus sites offered to porn memberships have nothing or little to do with the interest niche. Gay Hitchhiker gets definite points for providing gay sites, along with numerous other 3rd party sites to its members. |
Photos are all downloadable video grabs that average between 60 – 80K JPEGs. The photos are not the best, but then again, they are not the worst I have ever seen. There is a bit of blurring in captured action scenes, but the lighting is fairly consistent. Certainly, there is appearance of heavy shadow during the fucking. You will find a variety of shots from close-ups of cock pounding between a pair of wet lips or a tight, young hole, to long shots where you can really see the look on these guys faces while they are fucking.
Video clips can be streamed or downloaded as WMV or QT files. However, there is only one bandwidth, and it is 300K, making the download for a full-feature 600-700MBs, both time consuming, and huge. The video action is on par with any reality site. You will find a hand held camera, giving the action a documentary feel and a single source mic, which sounds rather mono, but the image quality is good, and you will not miss a beat of action. |

The whole premise of picking up a hitchhiker and having sex, is well, old. In fact, the twinks picked up on this adventure are not always hitchhiking, and the sex does not particularly occur in a car, not at the side of the road.
As for exclusivity? I have some hesitancy in telling you it is because the main ‘Casanova’ who drives around picking up these guys is also the main guy who picks up guys on other sites I have reviewed. I recognized some of the apartment locations, though not necessarily the hitchhikers. I will give the benefit of my doubt, but not fully. |
Gay Hitchhiker claims to update once a week, but there just does not seem to be enough content to really believe that the custom photos and videos are updated weekly. What is most likely updated weekly are various portions of the over 80 bonus sites that come with your membership. |

Those with a 56K connection may have a few difficulties. The member page is quite large, and so there will be an initial load time delay. After this, all other pages are smaller and more simplistic, but also expect a delay in streaming or downloading any of the video material.
Otherwise, for those with a 128 – 300K connection, Gay Hitchhiker pages, photos and videos load fairly quickly. Again, with any download of a full feature movie, there will be a wait, particularly with slow connection speeds. |

The main menu is located within the site banner at the top of the page. From here, you can gain direct access to photos and videos. If your preference is to surf, you can scroll down the page, where the newest hitchhiker is profiled in a large photo with a synopsis of how he was picked up by the roaming Casanova.
Further down the page there are 13 additional hitchhikers for you to choose from.
Photo gallery links you to a page of 14 thumbnails. From here, you can look at all the hitchhikers and decide which gallery you want to see. Similarly, video episode pages also consist of the 14 thumbnails, and beside each is a synopsis of why each guy is hitchhiking, for example, “Today we picked up Justin after his parents kicked him out.” |
The initial design is definitely suited to the site: a fast car, and a photo of the hard driving Casanova. Main menus are clearly marked with a large font, and there is plenty of space on the member page, which makes finding content exceptionally easy.
My only complaint is that there is a lot of text on the member page. This makes the page appear busier than it needs to be, and I mean this in a cluttered way. However, once you get into photo and video sections, the site appears a bit more organized. |

Final Remarks...
I absolutely love gay sites, and there are certain sites I like better than others, certain premises I find more appealing than others. Gay Hitchhiker was ‘alright’.
The premise seemed typical to me, and I really go for variety. Also, unless it’s some hot fucking porn star, I don’t want to see the same dude picking up guys over and over again. You really have to be into that one guy if you are going to get off on the content. In addition, there really isn’t a lot of custom action.
The ‘Casanova’, as they call him, was attractive enough, and I am sure that many of you guys would love to eat him up, but I have seen this guy on a variety of sites.
