Let’s start off by stating right up front that Ebony Fantasy is part of a huge megasite network whose hallmark is LOTS of content. The Classic suite of sites from Max Cash all seem to be built on the theory that more is more. Ebony Fantasy deviates from the other sites I’ve seen in a number of ways – giving you a lot of what youcame for is not one of them.

You’ll find well over 100,000 video feeds and video clips in lengths that vary from a minute or so to full-length movies of 25 minutes and more. Thousands of those clips are from Ebony Fantasy’s own ‘Video on Demand’ category – not specifically made for Ebony Fantasy, but exclusively licensed to the site. In addition to the VoD, there are feeds from a number of diverse other feed sites with names like Chocolate Covered Cherry, Black Beauties and Ebony Kingdom.  The videos are the main focus, and here’s a caveat – there’s very little that’s available to download for viewing on your own machine. If you don’t have a stable, high-speed connection that’s good for streaming, the videos are going to be a major disappoinment for you.

I’m a picture girl myself. There’s nothing I appreciate more than good photos, and there are about 50,000 of them here.  There are a dozen broad categories with hundreds of galleries each. You can get a taste of chocolate in flavors from hardcore, softcore, centerfold of the month, Oral Sex, Pure Candy, Ebony Gallery, Lesbian, Teen Photos, Interracial, Africa, Assorted XXX and Misc Softcore. Each gallery has between 30 and 150 pictures, which adds up to a LOT of pictures. My personal favorite is the Pure Candy, where the girls are totally luscious.

Besides their own exclusive picture galleries, you also have access to the galleries on 50+ other sites in the Classic network. Some of those sites have over 200,000 pictures each – which gives you close to a million pictures to browse through. Out of those, you get two others that are devoted to hot black babes, and one that’s all interracial pics. Between the three, you can add another 50,000 pictures and several hundred video feeds to give you a huge amount of mixed exclusive and non-exclusive sweet chocolate action for your money.

What else do you get? There are hundreds of audio stories to keep your ears and mind as busy as your hands, ezines, an exclusive comic book with new issue weekly and other little bonuses like an adult superstore where you can purchase videos, toys, lubricants and more, plus a casino if you like to vary your vices a bit.

This is one of the places where Ebony Fantasy differs from the other Max Cash sites that I’ve reviewed.  While there’s less picture content and more video content than usual, there also seems to be a higher overall quality, as if someone who really LIKES gorgeous black women was picking out the sets for this site. I wandered through a couple dozen galleries, and didn’t run across a single picture that I’d have judged less than ‘good’ quality and many were at the high end of stunning. The lighting in most sets is perfect to show off the velvety gleam of dark skin and the sweet, succulent contrast of pure pink when you delve inside – so, okay, maybe I’m a little influenced on this judgment by my own tastes in beauty. These girls are, almost without a single exception, a feast for the eye. Most of the pictures are at least 600x800, and some are available super-sized.

And don’t think just because they’re beautiful makes them untouchable. There’s a huge variety of nasty, wet hardcore action to suit even the most jaded porn hound. You’ll find everything from the exotic to pure ghetto street sluts strutting their stuff in these videos and pictures.

I dipped a little on scoring in this section, though, because the quality of all the available videos is a bit spotty. With the feeds coming from so many different sources, the quality is dependent on the particular site that it’s streaming from. Most sites only support one or two of the player types (Real Player, Windows Media, Quicktime and a java player), and not all offer low bandwidth versions. That said, the overall quality of the Ebony on Demand videos is quite good, and there are a lot of them, ranging from short clips to full length movies. Even on full-screen, the action is good, there’s little of that blur you get when things move too fast, and the sound quality is excellent.

The mix of exclusive/original content to licensed, distributed pictures and videos is difficult to determine, since it’s not always easy to tell when you’ve gone off site to another gallery or video site. For the most part, the four ebony/interracial sites share very little content with each other, and each has a large section of material labeled ‘exclusive’. The fact that these are among the most highly promted sites via free picture galleries, though, means that you could very well have seen some of these pictures and movies before.

Ebony Fantasy updates frequently – both adding new content and featuring different sets and videos prominently on a daily basis. Each day, you’ll get Porno Pete’s Pick of the Day, a new featured movie and a different featured gallery. There are new stories added almost daily, and a new issue of their exclusive comic CumQuest, once a week. The home page look is refreshed frequently, so that there’s always something different to check out when you log in.

If you’ve got a high-speed connection, you’ll love this site. The videos are all streaming, and while there’s some slight variance depending on which site you’re getting the feed from, overall, the movies stream with little buffering and almost no loss of quality.

It’s not so good if you’re on a low-bandwidth connection, though the small thumbnail pages and optimized graphics do keep the load times low on the picture pages. You’ll have to poke through the various video feeds to find those that cater to dial-up users, though, since nothing on the video contents page tells you if there’s a low bandwidth version available.

This is another place where Ebony Fantasy has taken a step away from the other Classic sites in this network.  The Members’ Home is organized enough to make it far easier to find the newest videos, the hottest pictures, the featured stories and what’s on the site as opposed to ‘bonus’ content. Other Max Cash sites use a template with site features in a column to the left of the center panel, and links to all the bonus sites in a column to the right. Not Ebony Fantasy. The concentration is on what you get HERE, and the site has the look and feel of a standalone site rather than a cookie-cutter network clone (I’m going to repeat that down below when I talk about design, with a little more detail.) There’s a right-side menu with drop-downs to easily get you to your favorite kind of stroking material.

The rest of the front page is organized and visually separates the bonus sites – with niche descriptions even! – from the on site material, and below that, is a small section with ads for other things like – well – penis enlargement techniques.  That’s one of my biggest picks with the entire suite of linked sites, but at least here on Ebony Fantasy, the ads are visually separate from the rest of the material and aren’t quite as intrusive.

Once you leave the front page, you’ll find a sleek top menu on each page to get you from section to section easily, with other navigation controls that are specific to the section well-conceived and easy to find. The gallery contents page lets you jump right to the kind of brown sugar you’re in the mood for by clicking on a thumbnail depicting the gallery contents, and once you’re in the section, you can use next, back, and page links to jump between pages. The same holds true for each individual gallery – it’s easy to get back to where you want to be from anywhere on the site.

They do keep my favorite Classic/Max Cash feature – the My Photo Albums favorites list, but doing away with the sidebar column of links to other sites does mean that you have to go back to the home page if you want to visit any of the included bonus sites. Overall, it’s an easy, intuitive navigation system, which is all good in my book.

This where I repeat myself. Ebony Fantasy has the look and feel of a standalone site, rather than a cookie-cutter network clone.  The four Classic sites that feature Ebony Content each are aimed at a specific niche – Fort Booty for ass lovers, Nasty Black Sex for hardcore aficionados, etc. Ebony Fantasy is Glamour, and it does a great job of conveying that impression. From the sleek gold-toned menu bar on the inside pages to the richness of the purple background; everything about the site’s design says exotic elegance.

It’s the perfect setting for the collection of gorgeous black women you’ll find here. Whether they’re African queens or ghetto hoochie babes, there’s not a one of them that doesn’t live up to the promise of ‘celebrating the beauty that is ebony’. It’s nice to see that someone at Max Cash cares enough to showcase that beauty.

You can also get access to Ebony Fantasy through the I Want Net Sex network. Black is beautiful, and Ebony Fantasy showcases that beauty in a site that’s as pretty as it is hot. I don’t know why the hell someone decided to single out this one niche site out of the 50+ that are a part of this whole network and give it a different look and feel, but whoever it was deserves a huge thank you from the network executives. Someone in the back office has a serious thing for black poontang and it shows in everything from the custom look of the site to the things that really matter like – the selection of pictures and movies that gets put up.

The price is still on the high side for a site that isn’t 100% exclusive, but unlike some of the other sites in the network, you won’t have to hunt far to find some really sweet, juicy black cherries and brown sugar.  This site is actually an example of what I’ve said about other sites in this network that I’ve reviewed – concentrate less on quantity and more on quality, and they could all be this good.
