Apparently, Sugar Mamas is a site that started up in April 2004, so it doesn’t exactly contain a huge database of material. Yet, even so, I would have expected the site to contain a lot more custom content than it does. There were only 13 big Sugar Mamas on this site. However, each had a photo gallery and full-feature video.

From the main member page, you can access the Sugar Mama photo galleries. Once linked to this area, you find one page with thirteen thumbnails of each BBW. Clicking on the personal gallery, you will find that most of these big girls have a 7-page gallery offering 20 photos per page.

In addition, each of the thirteen Sugar Mamas have one 20 minute movie that is broken up into average 2 – 3 minute clips, or streamed/ downloaded as a full, uninterrupted feature. 

Sugar Mamas photos appear to be good quality digital stills that have a rich colour, clear focus and exceptional close-ups that average between 45 – 55KB. However, I did find a few photos here and there that seemed to be lower quality film grabs. Maybe this is simply due to bad lighting that created a cold, almost flourescent hue in contrast to the richer looking photos. These images were smaller in size, averaging around 25KB, but still I did not notice a diminished quality other than in image colour.

The movies are viewable or downloaded as WMV or QT files and there is only one 300K bandwidth, which is best viewed with a medium connection. Dial-up users will be able to view the material, but it will take a good few minutes for each clip to stream and even longer to download. Through Windows Media Player the image isn’t bad. It plays back on a large viewing window, and I found that the image was viewable, though not particularly fantastic. I had to squint a few times to get past the slight blurring created when some young stud pounded into plumper pussy, but certainly, the quality was no worse than any other reality type site that I have ever seen.

Just to make sure that your connection is compatible with the site, I would watch the trailer on the homepage. This also runs at 300KB/s.

When it comes to BBW sites, even though Sugar Mamas does not offer a lot of custom material, they do offer a unique premise, and some very attractive large women. The site itself is simpley designed, and there seemed to be no problem in linking from any one page to another. However, once again, the dial-up user may find that photo pages have a slight load time.

The member page is well organized with the newest BBW episode profiled at the top of the page in a medium sized viewing window. More recent releases, 13 on the page are offered in smaller thumbnail photos below. In fact there are only 12, since the most recent BBW is repeated in this section.

All bonus material is easily accessed in a menu on the right side of the page, and content is listed in a top menu bar that includes photo gallery and all epsiodes. A pretty simple organization, which makes Sugar Mama a very easy site to navigate.

Orange has never been a colour that I have found particularly appealing, and so right away I am biased to the design of the homepage, and the subsequent member pages that use the colour in place of white space. In conjunction with this blue, white and yellow fonts are used, and I just find the colours don’t make the site particularly easy to read. Nonetheless, the site is organized with lots of space, and ease of use is much more important to me than how much the design sucks, which it does, but not in a messy way.

Sugar Mamas isn’t too shabby for a BBW site. Now, it does not have a lot of custom content, which is a bit of a disappointment, but paying for a least a month is not really all that bad. I felt a bit mislead by the site name. Sugar Mama gave me no indication that this would be a BBW site, but it does suit the premise of big women luring young studs into fucking them.
