Content is a little scarce here.  The bread and butter of this site should be its clips and photo shoots, but the majority of the content is held in the scrapbook area.  This spot is updated about every two weeks and contains behind the scenes type stuff, most of which isn’t all that exciting or titillating.  There are sample clips from about 15 movies, totalling fewer than 150 clips.  That’s not a whole lot to justify the subscription.  Same goes for the picture galleries, which consists of about 2500 stills from the movies, the quality of which I will comment on below.

The good side for fans of Seymour is that there is a fair bit of fan interaction.  He has quite a few writings on the industry and about the fans on the site, with updates to those done sporadically.  Scheduled online chat sessions are numerous and allow members to talk to Seymour about his movies and the business.  But if you’re looking for jerk-off material, there isn’t a whole lot here.

I would expect a higher degree of quality from a porn director than this site offers.  Pictures consist of bad-quality movie stills that look grainy and poorly lit and scrapbook photos.  There are some really beautiful girls that he has worked with over the years and some very sexy scenes he has directed.  It’s a pity that the pictures are too crappy to reflect that.

The scrapbook stuff, while shot well enough considering their spur-of-the-moment nature, just isn’t all that interesting.  How many fully clothed pornstars hugging someone at an event can you look at?  This stuff might be of interest to those who want to get into the industry and see what it’s like, but not the rest of us.  And let’s not forget the clips from his movies.  If you’re a fan of Seymore, most likely you own or have seen most of the movies here, so the clips don’t really offer a whole lot of extra incentive either.  They are pretty well done, but aren’t an extra feature that make it worth the price of admission.

The one saving grace of this site is some of the writing on the site.  Seymore seems to have made a real effort to educate people, with articles about breaking into the industry, female ejaculation and anal sex, with several worthwhile tips.  However, this stuff is freely accessible and therefore doesn’t add any extra incentive to join.  But do go over and take a look at the articles, they are worth a read if you’re curious.

There are a lot anal sites on the web and a lot of videos out there, but Seymore is one of the pioneers.  All of his content, limited as it may be, is exclusive to the site.  While you can get the stuff from here in his videos, there is nowhere else on the web to find these clips.  On there other hand, anal sites are a dime a dozen on the web and a lot are providing exclusive, hardcore anal action these days.

About every two weeks or so, something is added to the site.  Most of these update, however, are new stills from Seymore’s movies.  There is no specific standard as to how often it will be updated, and new video clips are few and far between.  And now that Seymore appears to be involved with his “Family Business” show, new movies seem to be less frequent, leading to, you guessed it, less material to draw clips and stills from.

Everything loaded pretty quickly on this site, with clips downloading in a matter of seconds and available in easy to use formats.  Pictures are thumbnailed, with the larger image files loading quickly as well.  There is no streaming content on the site, so slow streams are not an issue that provides a disadvantage to dial-up users.  The chatroom feature worked really smoothly as well, with no lag time at all.  The only thing preventing a quick browsing experience was the pop-up banners, which were a big pain in the ass.

Seymore Butts has done a lot to make his site user-friendly, with all of the areas marked well so that you can find what you want.  There was no search functionality, but the lack of a large amount of content made this a non-issue.  Content was organized by movie, with links to the picture galleries and clips from each alongside samples from each film.  The chat room didn’t have any design quirks that made it difficult to use and had all the standard commands.  Same goes for the online diary that is included with membership, it was easy to go back to previous entries and navigate there as well.  Nothing stellar about the design here, but functionality was definitely there.

I like the colour scheme for this site.  The webmasters obviously know what they’re doing in this regard, with excellent use of space to separate items of interest, clear organization and colours that are easy on the eyes.  There is definitely a good sense of flow to this site; it’s too bad that most of it should flow down the toilet.

There are no bonus sites included with a membership to Seymore Butts’ website.

Man, my asshole is still bleeding from the price of this place.  For almost $40 a month, the porn stars on this site should be coming over to blow me at home.  This is a really pricey site, despite its exclusive content.  It might be worth a one-month subscription to hardcore Seymore fans, but I think even they would be hard pressed to justify renewing their subscription month after month.  There is very little to this site, and most of the content does not warrant a price that is on the high end of the spectrum.

In addition, it really pisses me off when they try and get you to sign up for a second site in really small print like this, and then give you a very small window to cancel the subscription.  This seems to be a common theme on some of the bigger name sites.

I like full butts and I cannot lie, you other brothers can’t deny.  When a girl walks in with an assfull of cum, it’s fun.  And yet, this site is not fun.  There really is nothing on Seymore Butts that I can’t get in the video store.  The pictures are grainy screenshots or crappy Polaroid looking photos from behind the scenes.  As well, if you’re a fan of his movies, you’ve probably seen the full videos and don’t need access to a few clips from them.  Especially not for $40.00 a month.

The chat area is cool though, and some of the writing that Seymour does about the industry and sex in general is worth a gander.  If you’re a big Seymour Butts fan, it may be worthwhile to you to have the chance to chat with and get to know him better.  Then again, I think that anyone in porn worthwhile keeps in touch with the fans anyway, free of charge.  It’s the best way to keep them coming back for more.

I’m also concerned with the lack of bonus content.  This site would have still gotten a decent mark (67%) if they had found some other decent sites to affiliate themselves with.  The fact that Seymore is already weak on content as it is, added to the fact that there is no bonus content makes for very little opportunity for a strong recommendation.
