Naughty Allie is a very nicely laid out site with little in the way of flashy menus and navigational tricks, and in this case, less is definitely more. The design is simple and tables based, with a text menu across the top of the main pages that links you to each section. Nothing fancy-shmancy to make your browser beg for mercy – no drop-downs or slideouts and NO POP-UPS. If you want to get right to the updates, then hop directly to Allie’s Naughty Journal, where she records and links to all her new stuff, as well as giving you a nice insight into her daily life on every single day.

Each section starts with a main contents page that has links to ALL the content in that section set up in a comfortable, easy-to-read table. There’s a single good-sized thumbnail to give you an idea of what you’ll find inside, along with the beginning of Allie’s introduction/story. Each one is titled, and tells you either how many photos or how many minutes long the selection is. The intros are worth reading just for themselves, more than just informative, they’re entertaining!

The simple navigation follows through on the entire site. The gallery pages feature navigational controls at the top and bottom to take you back to the gallery index, or through the gallery page by page. The video section is set up similarly, with all the videos listed on one contents page, with a link to the video page. If a movie is available for both high and low speed connections, there’s a link to both provided, though even Allie suggests that if you’re on dial-up, you’ll probably want to download the movie and watch it from your hard drive.

Overall, the site layout is clean, simple and intuitive. There’s no ‘hidden’ content – everything is right up front where you can get to it easily and quickly.

What can I say? I REALLY like the neat, organized look that a tables-based design gives a site, and Naughty Allie is a prime example of that. She’s made good use of borders and white (well, lavender) space to visually divide sections and avoided cheesy graphics and tricks that make some sites look tacky and distract you from the pictures and the babes, and let’s face it – you’re not there to look at the graphics.

The pastel lavender/orchid colour scheme is unobtrusive and easy to look at, and provides a nice, cool background colour for the steamy action photos.
